Warning for Children of Beijing

Burmese military regime generals have always been reliant on their like-minded friends in Beijing. They hope that Communist Chinese leaders will help stop a United Nations Security Council’s binding resolution for democratic change in Burma. They think that Chinese veto power in UN Security Council will protect them from US’s attempts to punish them through UN Security Council. They have, so, become children of Beijing.

But it will be like a Burmese proverb “Kyar-Kyauk-Lo-Shin-Gyi-Koe-Shin-Gyi-Kyar-Htet-Soe”, meaning “Afraid of Tiger and worshipped an evil Spirit for protection, but found out Evil Spirit was worse than Tiger”.

Late Thakhin Than Htun was the top number one among pro-Beijin politicians in Burma. Although he had no religion and once famously said that he would melt down gold-plates from Shwedagon Pagoda and use the gold for his Bejing-controlled Communist Party (Ba-Ca-Pa), some said that he frequently worshipped facing north to pay his homage to his Chinese masters. Unfortunately (for him, but not for us Burmese people) he died a filthy death, killed in a jungle toilet by his own subordinates who become too unbearable with his evil actions. Sorry for him!

Even then, today's children of Beijing are still thinking that mighty Beijing will protect Burma from western aggression. Powerful Pawk Faw will come riding a nuclear-powered dragon to stop Texan cowboys from invading Burma, children of Beijing hope. (Pauk Faw is Burmese Colloquial referring to China)

But that same Pawk Faw cannot do anything more than saying a few occasional harsh words to the so called its renegade island Taiwan while America is regarding Taiwan as 51st State of United States of America. When it cannot do anything serious for so called its own renegade island, how will it protect Burma in the face of a really determined American plans for a regime change in Burma?

Even when Americans Bombed Chinese embassy in Serbia, during a softy Clinton era, the toughest response Pawk Faw dared managed was to encourage some ultra nationalist Chinese militants to throw a few stones at the US embassy in Beijing, and nothing more.

And Pawk Faw has a recorded history of having two faces, or may be even more. In his Autobiography Book, His Holiness the Dalai Lama recorded that he saw Chinese Premiere Chu-en-lai speaking foul of the then Burmese PM U Nu at his back, but pretending to be a good friend in front of him.

And His Holiness the Dalai Lama also noted that many newspapers in the region (except in China where there's no free press) at that time called Chu-en-lai as “Chew and Lie”.

And that famous Chew-and-lie tried to persuade the late Sao Pha, Sao Shwe Thaik, our first Burmese President, to break away from Burma and join with China. See! Pawk Faw tried to persuade our First President to break away from us and join with China.

And of course, the anti-Pagoda Thakhin Than Htun was Pawk Faw's favourite at that time as Pawk Faw’s main aim at that time was to destabilize the newly Independent Burma.

And during former Burmese socialist dictator Ne Win’s era, China annexed a lot of Burmese villages situated on Cino-Burmese border. Ne Win was himself a half-bred Chinese and he also wanted to concentrate on crushing down on internal opposition rather than on arguments with China, so he gave up a large amount of Burmese territory to China.

And soon after Burmese army had cold-bloodedly gunned down peaceful demonstrators with machine guns in 1988, Pawk Faw killed its own democratic demonstrators by crushing them down with tanks_ the whole world was shocked to see Pawk Faw's tanks literally crushing down on the democratic demonstrators. The two tyrannical brothers showed their true colours together.

One last thing, but not least; His Holiness the Dalai Lama wrote in his Autobiography that he saw some Chinese parents literally really ate the flesh of their children who died of starvation under Mao's communist rule in china.

So, children of Beijing should never forget that Pawk Faw will not hesitate to 'chew' the flesh of its own children, and then 'lie' that Pawk Faw is a very kind-hearted Big Brother or Step Father.

Be careful, Burmese generals!

Dear Tayza, this is such a powerful article.  Please, let me urge you to write it in Burmese (if you have not yet done so) and distribute EN MASSE from the Burma borders into the country.
I really liked that part about Chew and Lie.  Hehehehehe. It is SO funny.
Might I add: _
In the 1960s, Chewandlie went to India to make a friendship treaty.
The Indians called it "Chinee-Hindi Bai-Bai" (Chinese-Indian friend-friend)
HOWEVER, not long after Chewandlie returned to China, the Chinese PLA troops poured across the Northeastern region of India known as Arunachal Pradesh, and forcefully captured part of it. It was open warfare.  Very close to the Kachin State of Burma.
So you could call it the Chinnee-Hindi Bang-Bang instead of Bai-Bai.
(sounds like that children's movie Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang)

Good work.  Every revolution devours their own children.  It so happened in France, Russia, and China.  Sadly Burma was no exception.
