Editorial: Time Is Up
While we are collecting evidence of genocide committed by SPDC regime, they also are compiling evidences of connections of National League for Democracy with the anti-government organizations in exile which were recently declared un-lawful by SPDC regime. The aim is clear. We want to indict them and convict them in International Criminal Court on genocide charges, and they want to declare NLD unlawful. Their Information Minister Kyaw Hsan has already officially confirmed in their latest news conference that they will never negotiate with NLD. It is very clear now that sooner rather than later they will declare NLD unlawful. NLD, which won a landslide victory in Burma’s one and only democratic election in 1990, has always been a thorn in their sides, as they see NLD as an obstacle in their quest for absolute and eternal dictatorship in Burma. On the other hand, they are also stepping up their aggressions on ethnic minority groups. Since 2005 they have been backtracking on their cease-fire agreements with ethnic resistance forces. Since then a lot of ethnic leaders have been given life sentences, and a lot of small ethnic resistance forces have been forced into surrender. Even those bigger ethnic forces like KIO, KNU and SSA are now continuously under attack by SPDC regime troops. Thousands and thousands of Shan and Karen refuges are fleeing to Thai border and many thousands are hiding in the jungles to avoid rape and extermination by SPDC troops. And many unfortunate thousands are forced into relocation camps. They are sent by force at gun point to relocation camps hundreds of miles away from their homes. We can’t help remembering Jews sent in the same manner to camps during NAZI era. After NLD has been eliminated and ethnic groups exterminated, the military regime will approve a constitution which enshrines perpetual eternal military rule in Burma. From then on there will be nothing but total and never-ending sufferings for people inside Burma. A totally dark age is waiting just around the corner for Burma. THE TIME IS UP FOR US TO START THINKING ABOUT A SERIOUS REVOLUTION. A serious revolution to overthrow military regime in Burma by any means. Dr. Tayza ...................................................... Comments Nwe Aung from S.E.Asia said _ THE TIME IS UP FOR UN SECURITY COUNCIL TO ACT NOW, NOW, NOW. Maha Pyinyagyaw said _ Even a dog trapped at the corner will bite at you if he has no choice. This is the time for revolution; and in fact Ghandigyi policy of non violence works in India because it was under the yoke of British who have at least some morals. Burma is now entering a period of shameful sadness and unless sacrifice is made this oppression will go on forever. Where is the said Myanmar courage. I really sympathize all the elected MPs. ASSK has already done her part with altruism. It is now the duty of the people who elected the MP's to get back the dues...................... Kyaw Moe said _ Burma Digest is a lot better than Reader Digest. I get full information everyday. I don't even have to listen or read BBC, VOA, RFA and etc: HA HA said _ YOU GO FIRST. NO LIPS SERVICE. SHWE BA said _
Mr/Miss/Ms Ha Ha, our country needs all possible help. Don’t worry friend, I
hope Burma Digest is going to reveal the various forms of revolutions soon, and
we just need to see what we could do to topple the present government. Even if
you decided to just look at the people’s nonviolent protests without clapping
your hands, it may be good enough as, I hope, SPDC soldiers have to think twice
to apply violence in front of a lot of spectators, Burmese and foreign visitors. Cornelius (Roman centurion) said _ If we really want to change our military government into "Democracy" government, we must be able to create divisions or divide the military regime first, then only it would be possible for changing our government of military power. And, I think, women are the best weapons to change/to revolute a political crisis. If we really track back centuries, you would be able to find how women took part in every aspect of human history. In the same time, we also must rely on God who can do all things by Him a lone.
